Health advice

Test Results + Telephone Advice:  Please phone for test results between 12 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Advice by telephone is given by doctors – this can be arranged by booking a telephone consultation. Telephone consultations can be booked by contacting the surgery and speaking to a member of the reception staff. They can arrange for a doctor to phone you back at a pre-arranged time, which saves you the bother of having to come down to the surgery. We are unable to give information to a third party without your express permission.

House Calls: Whenever possible requests for house-calls should be made before 10a.m.  The doctor may decide that is more appropriate for the patient to be assessed in the Health Centre.

Out of Hours Calls:  Between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m medical cover is provided by Greater Glasgow Primary Care Division ( also known as GEMS)  PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS SERVICE IS FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY.

General Health Advice:  Healthcare advice is available from NHS 24.  Tel: 111

Leaflets:  Leaflets and other written information are available on display, from reception or from the Practice Nurses.
